Our new vines are in honor of our efforts to become a "Green Sanctuary" congregation

Donations

Please remember that we value gifts of all kinds, from needed supplies, works of art, materials for projects, time and effort, and of course money. People regularly donate breakfast for our morning pre-meeting fellowship. One member recently donated a large gazebo we plan to put up in the spring, and another members is donating the lumber to put a floor under it. Two other members worked together to create and donate our new stained glass Circle-of-Hands Chalice. We need building materials for our new entry way and for the deck leading around to that new entry. We also need to reconstitute or bird feeders - we need regular donations of bird feed, and someone to volunteer to fill the feeders every Sunday morning.

We greatly appreciate monetary donations to Circle Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, whether they be donations to a specific project, general donations, or pledges. One of the rewards to giving is knowing that you are enabling good works to be done! In addition to providing programming for our Sunday morning services and Religious Education for Fellowship children, we are active with the Crooked Creek Community Council (C4), and are involved in becoming a green congregation, which, in addition to making our congregation have a smaller environmental impact, includes encouraging our members and others in our larger community to reduce their environmental impacts. We are also welcoming to the LGBT community and are undertaking to make that community more aware that we are welcoming. We have started training trainers for the OWLs (Our Whole Lives) curriculum, which includes comprehensive age appropriate sexuality training for first grade through adult, and hope to offer this training to the Indiana Youth Group (IYG--support for LGBT youth) and other groups around the city in addition to our own congregation.

Never think that a donation is too small to be worth making. A weekly donation of only $5.00 will add up to about $250.00 through the year. $250.00 will pay one of our RE teachers for 11 weeks, help us bring in guest speakers and performers, pay our fair share to the Heartland UU district for 12 members, provide a big part of the cost of one of our accessibility projects, pay for an RE training class for one of our teachers, or buy RE supplies for a significant part of the year.
