We unconditionally welcome all, including LGBTIQ*, family and friends; and (in alphabetical order) Atheists, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Humanists, Jews, Pagans, and other faiths.

We also welcome the religiously wounded - many who thought
they would never go back to church have found a spiritual home with us!

Upcoming programs:

Sunday Oct. 12 - A Sixties Pilgrim’s Progress: Memory and Epiphany (Michael Doyle, Ph.D.)
Dr. Doyle reflects on the generational experiences of a spiritual seeker whose quest led from Roman Catholicism to Unitarian Universalism. Stops along the way included psychedelic inner space, sweat lodges, Yoga ashrams and utopian communities. Dr. Doyle is associate professor of history at Ball State University.

Sunday Oct. 19 - Interfaith Coalition on Nondiscrimination (Dan Funk)
Dan Funk is executive director of ICON, a faith-based advocacy coalition for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. CUUF is one of 23 member churches and synagogues who supported ICON in helping Indiana become one of the only states to defeat an anti-gay constitutional amendment.

**Saturday, October 25: Michael Johnathan—Indy Folk Series at UUI” (click here for more info)

Sunday Oct. 26 - The Vigorous Mind: Cross-Training Your Brain (Ingrid Cummings)
Contrary to the popular notion, specialization is not the answer to every problem in the world. Let’s flex our contrarian muscles and figure out how the generalists of the world can get back on the playing field! Ingrid Cummings is author of The Vigorous Mind: Using Kaizen to Cross-Train Your Brain. She also hosts “Rubicon Salon” on WICR-FM and authors the “Life Lessons” column in Indianapolis Monthly magazine.

Nov. 2 - Day of the Dead (Grace Starcke)
This holiday began in Mexico and now is an annual observance for the Fellowship. Join us as we honor our friends and relatives who have died. Please bring photos or other small items in remembrance of loved ones to place on our specially created altar.

Sunday Mornings

Fellowship conversation with continental breakfast starts at 10:30, followed by the service at 11:00. Service typically ends with discussion of the meeting topic, so that service ends about 12:15.

Wednesday Evening

Covenant Group is on hold over the summer, and will resume in the fall. Watch here for the new schedule. Covenant Group is an opportunity for us to get to know one another better, and is a sharing session with no direct cross talk. All are welcome at Covenant Group, including visitors. Come check it out! Click here for more information about Covenant Group.

More about Circle Fellowship

Circle Fellowship is a diverse family on a free-ranging spiritual journey. We are lay led (have no professional clergy), and draw on ourselves and the community for programs. Sunday program topics are wide ranging. We try to balance programs between artistic, spiritual or religious, social issues and social justice, science & technology and reflection on our selves and our own congregation, and we always ask our speakers to include or leave time for discussion.

Visitors to Circle Fellowship might enjoy Buddhist meditation one week, classical guitar the next and the history of the early Christian church the next. One of our most popular program series has members share about their journeys to their own beliefs. Our Fellowship is small enough to give everyone a voice and, if they wish it, an active role in planning and helping with various projects and activities.

Work Parties
One of the non-monetary ways you can give to Fellowship is by attending work parties. The phrase "the more the merrier! definitely applies to work parties. If only 2 or 3 people show up it can seem like more work than party, but if 6 or 8 or more attend, it becomes more party than work! And even better, we get lots done! - many hands make light work. Please plan to attend our next work party on Saturday October 18th at 9:00 am!
